Can you advise on whether notifications that new messages are on the app will be emailed out continuously and how one might switch this off if one is a desktop/laptop-er, or what the default on notifications will be
I don't have it yet either. The app seems to be a work in progress, it was basically impossible to comment using it for a while since the position of the typing thing would jump around as you input letters, but that seems to be fixed now
Everyone I know accesses Substack from their desktop/laptop. It is, after all, a long-form tool...not a Twatter replacement. This would be a great feature on the desktop, but this is mostly Substack trying to get us all to load its app and I, for one, am not going there. Please get them (or ask in any case) to put the chat tool onto the desktop/laptop where it might be more-than-interesting. Thanks
I need to figure out some of the specifics regarding the subscriber chat. Once I do that I'll start a thread.
This will be for paid subscribers only as I can imagine the hell that would be unleashed if everybody could participate.
Nice idea but totally useless for those that access via laptop / desktop. For clarity this includes myself.

I hope the app goes well.
Hmm, I have the app, but I don't see the chat icon
I have a paid subscription
And I have just updated the app. Hmmm...
Maybe it only works on iphone? (This is an ipad).

Useless for me if it doesn't work on the web.

Hi Niccolo. I want to subscribe for chat facility, already a regular. How do I pay extra or do you adjust automatically? Excited.
Just my opinion but the content is so varied and consistent in quality you should at least explore a moderate increase in sub. Maybe 7 euro?
