An ambitious project, Niccolo. We, your subscribers are definitely getting a superior and responsive service.
If it is possible, I'd be interested in learning a bit about the long-term legacy of the war. As we can see in the former Yugoslavia or even the USA civil wars leave an ambiguous and troubling heritage for those who come after. Doing justice to the loss and the collective culpability of a civil conflict appears next to impossible.
This sounds fascinating.... Will this mammoth undertaking seek to provide an objective assessment, or one somewhat coloured by the author's own political leanings?
This looks to be a monumental series on the war. As someone who read, ‘Homage to Catalonia’ as a teen and flirted with leftism and anarchism for a few years as a result, I am looking forward to gaining a comprehensive view of this conflict.

Looking forward to learning more about this episode in recent history.
Also looking forward to it. I am a bit curious if Errol Flynn will be included among the celebrities.
Definitely, as his is a wild story.
They certainly don't make them like Errol Flynn anymore. Here is a cheerful 1980s era rock song about Errol.

I recall reading that he was a Nazi spy -- I believe that George Seldes made that claim.
He is another interesting person that figures into this history. I had the pleasure of meeting him when he was 102 years old.
Amazing!

This article by Stanley Payne has good material on recent issues of the war's legacy:

Nicco, ~30% of the US population wants to know...would Taylor Swift be part of the Celebrity War if it occurred today????
(Yes I will make the same bad joke when the time comes)
I have muted both her name and Lana Del Rey over at Twitter. I am doing my best to quarantine myself from that culture.
Working in person with about 75% women, I have adapted and evolved. I am the Solid Snake of the white-collar world.
"Of course I want the Chiefs to win!"
ouch

Gonna strain towards objectivity.
A friend and I still occasionally say VIVA LA MUERTE when we are pumping ourselves up and/or are angry at someone

Looking forward to it. This is a piece of history I know very little about.
Much appreciated!
Cannot wait! Def one area of history where a guided tour is in order.
Can we work Carmen Habanera in here? Take Stack multimedia?
Fuck me, I’m hyped.
Did you get part 2 in your email?
