Every Soldo interview contains a passage that ends up being one of my favorite things I read that week. Cheers as always, Sir.

Somehow simmers with a similar erotic energy to Anna K interview. I hear on American social media that means you have basically doomed poor Bryan to be beat through the streets by Cossacks, as Russian Law demands. But hey, he's Irish, so I imagine he is used to it.

I like Niccolo’s guests, but I like his adversarial questions/statements even more. He should just write one-sides pieces making non sequitur accusations and saying shit like Turgenev doesn’t compare to the Marvel Universe

This is good Niccolo, I yearn with an unearthly hunger for good news. I've been hurt too many times before. But your newsletter hits the spot. MacDonald's prediction of geopolitical rework/baton pass c. 2024 aligns with the astrology (Pluto leaving Capricorn for Aquarius). We can talk more about this sometime if you like

Great interview as always Niccolo. I really enjoy this series.

This week I'm impressed you managed to find and interview a bonafide Irishman who is completely lacking a sense of humor. That's more rare than an Irishman who doesn't drink

>He meant that the Trumpist US was unwilling to do a deal that wasn't a 100% win for Washington. Biden's team will be more flexible. I say “team” because he won't be running the show day to day. He's too old to micromanage. This may be good thing, or this may be a recipe for disaster. I have no idea of Biden's cognitive function. Perhaps he's far sharper than it seems, who knows? The problem is some of his team may well be consumed by ideology (as Obama's staff were), and with a potentially weak President at the helm, there is the chance that rogue elements could upset the applecart.

I think a lot of Trump's reticence to get a deal done with Russia was due to Russiagate, that anything less than 100% victory would be seen as evidence of TREASON TO OUR DEMOCRACY by boomer libs discovering the joys of being eternally angry and paranoid like their neoconservative cousins. Nixon could go to China because his anti-communist credentials were impeccable, but will the same happen in the great Satan?

I doubt it, given that Biden's putting creatures like Rachel Levine in office, a decision which seems like no other arguments in its favor than owning the cons. Although "her" embracing Soviet psychiatry is going to make my job stress go away, as I can now get autismbuxx for being transphobic. Back to the main point, Russia has devoured so much of lib gray matter that Biden probably can't get away with anything less than nuking it.

This interview had more substance in the replies than most, I enjoyed it greatly. Also I've had a fascination with Khabarovsk for a year now (for some reason I just want to go there), so it was interesting to hear about that.
