Personally I think you should make an exception to the public figures only rule and interview everyone’s favorite bureaucrat. But if we’re sticking to the regulations then Michael Anton would be interesting.

Two suggestions:
1. Pieces on how the good life is/has been viewed across different cultures and periods of time. It seems the question of what the good life is or could be has faded in importance. Instead we focus on partisan bickering and technocratic quibbling, which gets awful tedious.
I find news and a point of view here I rarely encounter anywhere else - so I won’t recommend anything as it would ruin what is an extremely pleasant change of scene for me.
Richard Hanania? Maybe not much to be revealed by an interview though since he has essentially zero inhibitions about saying whatever is on his mind through his twitter and substack already.

2. Periodic subscriber AMA sessions.

A few interview suggestions:
Wesley Yang
Aaron Sibarium (good sense of humor)
Helen Andrews
Tim Carney
Peter Hitchens
Ideas for an interview; George Szamuely. He's on Locals as "The Gaggle" and has some outspoken views on NATO's dismemberment of Yugoslavia.
Richard Hanania? Maybe not much to be revealed by an interview though since he has essentially zero inhibitions about saying whatever is on his mind through his twitter and substack already.
Steve Sailer? Boomer legend.
Vladimir Putin. He's got a sense of humor
I'm far too cozy and polite for partisan commenting
Some people prefer quiet compliance
That’s me in the corner
That’s me in the spotlight.
(Guy on the wall drank too much slivovitz).
I promise to post a serious comment eventually so help me Todd Rundgren.
About the rules my mind is Split.
Still thinking about book suggestion you’re not going to say fink off to.
Someone is gonna say you’re always banging on about the same stuff? I don’t think so.
Pity about Wesley Yang. Maybe it’s a humour thing. Would have been interesting.
Be careful with the chauffeur stuff.
Приятного отдыха
I'm most interested in what you find interesting to comment on. Enjoy touring with your parents and all the best
