Great job on your work here. This is by far my favorite substack.
I think the first article I read was your Glen Greenwald interview. I honestly thought it was satire. That you wrote both sides of the interview as a parody, and that I was not in on the joke. In fact, I still would not be surprised if you told me that was the case and I’ve actually foolishly managed to convince myself that they are real. In any event. I love them. Keep them coming!
Nic, as one of your first paying subscribers, I think I’m entitled to some special treatment. I was thinking perhaps access to your harem of Croatian models? Just DM me the door code.
Other than that, I use your weekly commentary as an escape from the Anglo news complex. I enjoy your takes more than the articles you post but I understand you need a jumping off point. My preference going forward would be more of your original takes on politics, especially on areas outside the US such as Europe, Latin America, Asia...

Thanks once again for the substack, the interviews and the weekly article selection which is always enlightening. I’m the type of asshole that never pays for anything, but I always go out of my way to share your articles with all intelligent real world people I know.
Your hope that the Covid dictatorial regime is ended was echoed by almost all of the intelligent people I spoke to this holiday season. I had and continue to have a more pessimistic take (living in NYC does not help), but I do believe soon an opening will arise to be taken advantage of that’s the best we’ve had in at least 30 years, if not longer. Best to 2022.

This was one of my great 2021 discoveries, one of two and only two places where I get news (the other being Taibbi's Substack). The focus on global stuff is excellent for us Americans. I'm excited for what 2022 has on offer.

I understand the grape varietal Zinfandel is originally from Croatia. If you did revenge-porn style fiction where Croatia nukes California back into the Stone Age for the grievous, spit in all Croats faces, abomination that is…(shudder)…White Zinfandel, you will have my monthly contribution.
(Better do it quickly as California seems to be back in Stone Age in some parts already.)

My friend, I am a bit confused by your covid restriction claim. I have not been/felt restricted since May 2020.
I run a couple businesses, live in the Midwest, travel to Florida routinely.
Wore a mask 2 times in 2021, when I flew last March.
No vacs, no tests, no sick.
To me, covid is like Joe Biden - a silly myth.
