I’ve received an overwhelming amount of encouragement from readers who have urged me to make a series on the Spanish Civil War and the lead-up to it. Due to the great demand for it, I will commit to doing it. I’ve already begun working on the next entry.
The question that I have for you is: how in-depth should I go for this series?
Several people who read the first entry contacted me to tell me that they are either the sons of (or related to) veterans of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade. This encourages me to do a standalone entry on that specific facet of this story, and there is quite a lot of material already available for me to dig through when putting it together.
I also want to do a standalone entry on the famous names from the West who went to Spain to “fight the good fight”, as this conflict drew the attention of so many people and became a cause celebre.
I think I should also do a standalone entry on Anarchism in Spain, as the subject is a very interesting and important one….very unique as well.
Feel free to make comments, suggestions, pitch ideas, etc. for this series, and thank you all again for your initial feedback.

I think its an interesting and important enough area to justify a lot of posts without getting boring. I was hoping for a series on this ever since the end of the HIV series
